Conclusion:
Though not an exact science, CAP believes in the scientific approach of paranormal investigating. No video or photographic evidence was captured during the investigation to support the claims of activity involving objects moving or supporting the possibility of an imaginary friend Abigail. We did find fairly high readings of EMF (electro magnetic field) in the attic area where the daughter claims she has seen Abigail. High levels of EMF have been known to cause feelings of being watched, skin irritation, nausea and even hallucinations. Since the daughter is much closer to the floor while standing, and even closer if she plays on the floor, there is a possibility that she is being affected by the high EMF emissions in that area. While that might explain sightings in the attic, other areas where the daughter claims to have seen Abigail did not have the same high levels of EMF.
We do believe there is a low level of paranormal activity present in this home based on the amount of EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) captured on the premises and described in the Evidence section of the report. At this time, however CAP cannot categorize the location as actively “haunted” at this time.
