(6) Digital Cameras
(6) Digital Voice Recorders

EMF (electro magnetic field) Detector
Infrared Handycam Video Camera

EVP Sessions: (3) Three

Number of Teams: (2) Two (active during investigation)

Claims of Activity:

• Apparition of a person on the loft stairs and at the front corner of loft
• Pennies being thrown at employees
• Noises and voices

Locations:

• First floor with loft
• Basement

Evidence:

• EVPs
• Personal Experiences

Personal Experiences:

1. While sitting out during session 1, Karen and Doug heard the floor creak at the top of the stairs on the loft.

2. Minutes later, Karen and Doug heard a banging sound coming from the kitchen. Doug checked it out and didn’t see anything obvious out of place.

3. During the same session, Karen and Doug heard a male voice speaking on the first flight of stairs to the loft.

4. While sitting out during session 2, Melissa thought she heard some whispering from the second floor and also the staircase.

5. After the first session, a penny was discovered in plain sight on the floor in the loft within a few feet of the stairs, which no one noticed during session 1 or during equipment setup.

6. During session 2, Karen and Paul felt a cold breeze rush between them in the hallway at the bottom of the basement stairs. The basement door was closed at the time.

Note: In the basement it was discovered that extremely high EMFs (electromagnetic fields) are being emitted from the emergency lights, some pipes, and the pump in the office. Higher than normal EMFs were recorded from the PVC pipe that runs across the hallway about halfway down.
This is where one employee stated she felt creepy or uneasy feelings. Melissa stood under this pipe for a few minutes, and experienced some changes in her nasal pressure and then a headache. At the height of Paul’s head, the recorded EMF was an 8.0. Based on an individuals sensitivity to electromagnetic fields, high levels of EMF have been known to cause feelings of being watched, skin irritation and even nausea.

Conclusion: Though not an exact science, CAP believes in the scientific approach of paranormal investigating. No video or photographic evidence was captured during the investigation to support the claims of activity. However, several CAP team members had personal experiences during the investigation that help support claims of activity. We believe there is a high level of paranormal activity present at the Chrome Cat based on the amount of EVPs (electronic voice phenomena) captured on the premises and described in the Evidence section of the report. We also believe that with further investigating, capturing more evidence seems very likely.
